As I was preparing for my most desired church wedding, I came across a lot of beautiful designer wedding gowns on the internet. Most of them are Cebu based fashion designers. Let me share with you some pictures..(because pictures were all they were to me. if you know what I mean..) Here they are…

Fashion Designer: OJ Hofer. Don’t you just love the butterfly details on the wedding gown? Very very romantic..

Fashion Designer: Jun Escario. You will definitely be the sexiest bride ever if you wear this designer wedding gown.

Fashion Designer: Monique Lhuillier. She was born in Cebu although no longer based in Cebu..But I guess she still counts…This wedding gown is just s-u-r-r-e-a-l. What bride wouldn’t dream of wearing a Monique Lhuillier gown?

After seven years of being together with my partner and having two children, my handsome beau and I finally decided to tie-the-knot, seal the deal, have God’s blessings – or whatever phrase that would best describe the “official” start of being together for a lifetime.

We were suppose to have a civil wedding but in the innermost recesses of my mind, I am “wishing” that we would have a church wedding. We had one whole year to plan for our wedding but we decided to contact suppliers and book the event venue 2 months before our target wedding date.

I might have been wishing too hard and too often that God granted my “wish”. Two months before our target wedding date, my fiance’s aunt and uncle (a very blessed couple) volunteered to pitch in a great deal of money only if we would have a church wedding. Now that is just the craziest deal ever, don’t you think? Who wouldn’t want to have a church wedding? I think it is every woman’s dream.To feel like a princess at least for a day..

I was so excited and ecstatic that I felt like I had an out-of-body experience. I started surfing the net, looking for ideas and wedding gowns. There are a lot of brilliant ideas out there. It’s so hard to focus on one thing. I didn’t have the luxury of time though so I had to get on my feet and put my “wish” into a reality.

I realized how hard it was to scout for “the” wedding gown, the suppliers – florists, videographer, photographer, printer and all that. Not to mention the legwork for all the legal documents.. I had 1 month.. (The outcome? I will tell you in my succeeding blogs..)

I might just share some of my wedding pictures..That is after I have summoned all the courage to show pictures of myself and my family… (I’m the shy type! nah..) For now I hope you enjoy reading along..
